The Printing Machine began as a quick print business in April 1985 in trendy Canterbury by Justin Coogan and was bought by its current owners, Rod & Julie Heath in 1987.

Gradually the business was transformed into a more conventional commercial printing establishment and employed up to 6 people. The business was Incorporated in 1991 and became The Printing Machine Pty Ltd.

We decided to look for a freehold in 1994 after 7 years of paying rent and settled on our current location in Trawool Street Shopping Centre. Our Staff one by one went on to bigger and better things and weren't replaced until it was down to the present two person operation in Rod & Julie.

Our clients have come and gone (and come back again) and we are still servicing some of our original customers 20+ years on. The Printing Machine these days resembles more of a pet shop with our loyal Irish Setter Molly & Miu Miu our 2 yo toy poodle to greet the clients. As well as the adopted pigeons, Bunnies, lizards and turtles.

This is truly a family business where personal service is as personal as it gets. We look forward to meeting your printing needs in the near future.

Vale Justin Coogan

Justin Coogan, the founder of The Printing Machine passed away recently after a short battle with cancer. Big Justin will be sadly missed after having been cut down in the prime of life. We will miss his big booming laugh and jovial manner and his zest for life and business dealings. Condolences to Annie his mum and Brian & Corinne his siblings.
